The physicians at the South Florida Fibroid Center were among the first physicians in the United States as well as South Florida to perform Uterine Fibroid Embolization, treating our first patient in 1998. Since that initial procedure, hundreds of women have been successfully treated for symptomatic uterine fibroids at the South Florida Fibroid Center . All of our physicians are board certified in diagnostic radiology and have additional subspecialty fellowship training in Interventional Radiology, with many years of experience in performing minimally invasive procedures such as Uterine Fibroid Embolization.
